TSVOE™ — Trusted, Secure, and Verifiable Operating Environment

TSVOE™ (U.S. Patent No. 8,782,404) describes a security architecture built around a trusted, verifiable operating environment that sits between untrusted clients and services, evaluates each request using a plurality of security features (hardware, firmware, software, and process), determines risk, and then dynamically selects how to respond—ranging from granting access, to requiring stronger multi-factor checks, to enabling specialized secure operations—while keeping the rest of the system untrusted by default.

Ownership. TSVOE™ is assigned to Lamb Enterprises Incorporated. We work with select partners to evaluate overlap, license the technology, and architect compliant systems.
Overview

What TSVOE enables

Risk-adaptive security controls

TSVOE formalizes a model where requests for protected operations are evaluated using a plurality of security features—hardware, firmware, software, or process-level—and the system adaptively selects the appropriate response.

  • Requests are evaluated in context, not only at boot time.
  • Security features can be combined, elevated, or withheld based on risk.
  • Trusted fabrication and verifiable operation are built into the design.

Broad applicability

The TSVOE framework is intentionally general. It can apply to secure elements, cloud platforms, identity systems, and safety-critical devices.

  • Payment and identity flows with multi-factor and context-aware checks.
  • Secure devices that mediate access to hosts, networks, or cloud services.
  • Governance and compliance controls that depend on strong technical guarantees.

Licensing, collaboration, and assessment

Licensing & design-around

We collaborate with organizations that either build on TSVOE or need independent views on whether existing systems may intersect with the claims.

  • Structured licensing discussions for covered implementations.
  • Design guidance for implementations that seek to avoid infringement.
  • Integration of TSVOE principles into new or existing platforms.

Technical & legal interfaces

TSVOE sits at the boundary of systems engineering and legal strategy. We support both sides with grounded, evidence-driven analysis.

  • Technical mappings between TSVOE and concrete products.
  • Assistance for outside counsel, damages experts, and policy teams.
  • Structured documentation suitable for regulatory or litigation workflows.
